Tuesday, April 9, 2024 - Beautiful nose loaded with grilled rosemary and thyme switches, white pepper, lavender, roasting meat and roasted black cherries. Just massively aromatic! Medium-full bodied, this is still quite tannic and they are drying. They detract from the palate which is similarly loaded with tons of herbs de Provence, black pepper and some herbal qualities as well as copious black cherry, wild blueberry and mulberry fruit. I doubt these gritty tannins will ever resolve, but only time will tell. For lovers of gritty, rustic tannin only. This developed in the decanter quite well. Drink now-2029 94
