Wednesday, June 4, 2014 - Garnet red with slight bricking. Nose of cooked red fruit, nutmeg, licorice, garrigue floor. It is fading a bit on all 3 senses but has a framework of ripe red fruit and spicy acidity to sustain it thru the palate. The oak tannin is well-integrated but starting to get a little sawdusty. Past prime but still sublime.
