Saturday, January 22, 2022 - Opened hot and dusty like its 2007 sibling, but less fruit and more herbaceous and even resinous qualities. More appealing accompanying rich food (cassoulet). Day 2: this turned around even more than the 2007, with more fruit, more complexity (smoked meat, leather), and less harshness.
