Friday, November 6, 2020 - Drank as part of a fun gathering where everyone brought a magnum to share. This wine out of magnum was clearly on the early side of the drinking window, but what a beautiful wine. Ripe empire apples, red pears, sweet herbs on a wonderfully pure and classy frame. The wine initially showed soft and sweet, but with air gained an edge of spice and crystalline minerality. At 7% alcohol, this was incredibly drinkable and hard to put down.
