Sunday, July 15, 2018 - Dinner with Mikhail & Svetlana (Chez V): Pop and pour with Mikhail and Svetlana. OMG, this has improved dramatically since our last bottle in 2015. Blind I would think is an Alsace Grand Cru from a good producer. It has developed such complexity and intensity. If you have any left give it a try. Loads of lychees and kumquats in the nose. In the mouth, the wine is so expansive. It fills the mouth with flowers and lychee and minerals. Simply stunning.
