Monday, November 11, 2013 - Nose: Big nose, very vegetal. Asparagus, stewed cranberry and herbal funk. Stewed apple sauce. Almost Burgundian on the nose. Taste: Bitter. Like rhubarb. Okay on the finish. Lasts long but it is not powerful. Somewhat disappointing. The wine has structure but it just doesn't taste very good on its own (may be better with food). Somewhat monotonous.
