Sunday, May 13, 2012 - A restrained nose of blackcurrant jam. In the mouth this was big on Stewed blackcurrant with plum, green pepper and pencil shavings - with a steely iron too. Quite a bit of oak, high tannins and a long dry finish of bitter chocolate. Pretty good, but a bit heavy going.
