Friday, August 9, 2002 - Bright disc. Opaque ruby with red rim. Clean nose, showing intense coffee, currants, cola and cherry. Good acidity, medium alcohol, abundant tannins. The tannins are slightly hot. Medium to full-bodied, with a strong mid-palate showing similar flavors as the nose. The finish is long and slightly hot. Needs time, but has great potential.
