Friday, December 9, 2011 - PnP (sort of, as cork slipped into the bottle). Light violet red. Dark fruit, stems, flowers, dirt and spice on nose. Firm medium intensity fruit with good acid backbone, sense of mineral and gritty, but not overbearing tannin. Should age and integrate a bit. Nice 'cool climate' styled syrah with plenty of character. Really paired well with food.
