Wednesday, January 27, 2016 - Aromas of -wait for it- bacon, blackberry, pepper, olives and earth. The palate matches. Dark and savory meaty (bacon/jerky) notes up front adding the pepper/olive on the midpalate and fruity yet earthy towards the end. Integrated medium acidity, medium+ tannins and a fairly long finish. Well-made, delicious wine. Drinking well now on days 1 & 3, it was a bit shut down on day 2 and should easily last through 2020.
