Happy to report that this bottle was in excellent shape. Wide open, expressive, and fully mature, with typical aromas of earth, game and blood. On the palate, soft, broad texture, with earthy / gamey notes, a slight metallic component and minerality at its core. Fruit faded at this point. Fully mature and currently flattered by its age... No reason to cellar this one any longer - drink up.
