Sunday, December 21, 2014 - This bottle was a bit of a surprise. I was expecting to open something very accessible from the pop and something that might be starting to fade slightly. Instead, at first, the wine was a bit disjointed, but after a couple of hours, came together beautifully. Deep color, very nice fruit with excellent mineral notes on the finish. Enough tannin remains to provide a solid backbone, but the wine is quite well balanced. All in all this wine was drinking quite well and may have even improved from the last bottle I tried. Excellent value.
