Saturday, January 13, 2007 - Nice wine. My only bottle and hard to know when to drink but brought back memories of our trip to NY. Showing darkish red w hints of orange. Opaque. Nose is not too showy, but I do get typical forest, black cherry and spices.Briary and resonable concentration. Integrated cherry pit taste, that remains on the palate for a while. Crunchy. Has much time, acids on the finish still support the wine. I'd look out for this again. Good with simple roast beef.
