2007 Rhys Chardonnay Alpine Vineyard

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Thursday, June 9, 2022 - Initially a deep gold color that quickly turns more of a honeyed hue. Aromas of butterscotch, lemon, and buttered popcorn. Palate has striking lemon/grapefruit tartness that pervades from start to finish. Grilled pineapple, mango, grapefruit, lemon, some toasted hazelnut notes show up in the palate over time. The finish is medium-long. This held steady for several hours over which it was consumed. Strong showing and worth the patience. Drink.
