Wednesday, October 28, 2020 - We remember meeting the owner / winemaker at release when we bought this. That was in 1993. At the time it was fresh, fruity, but a bit overly assaulting in how big and tannic it was. This was remarkable -- the wine is blood red, modest amount of sediment, cork intact, no bricking, a fruity nose with some camphor, mint, chocolate and tarragon. The mouthfeel is rich and silky. Some red fruits and chocolate, with a touch of plum and camphor on the finish. This wine is remarkably youthful for seeing 28 trips around the sun.
