Saturday, September 1, 2018 - Dinner at Birch. I have never tasted this producer before so I was quite curious . Deep dark crimson red. Little shy on the nose but opened up during the two hours in the decanter. Very focused on the palate; minerals, tobacco, roses and dark red fruit. Intense yet balanced, smooth. Silky tannins.
