Wednesday, August 31, 2011 - Good CA Cab, but distinctively CA. Heavy nose laced with alcohol fumes and hints of coffee, red fruit and some plum. Creamy on the palate with little to no noticeable oak influences except, perhaps, a little vanilla on the nose. Palate is fruit forward, but not jammy or overpowering and the tannins are noticeable but not harsh. Decent, but for the price reminds me why I prefer Bordeaux.
