Saturday, January 22, 2011 - Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2008 Tasting (The Barker Hangar – Santa Monica, CA): There are beautiful restrained aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and stones in a delicate floral style that is so ethereal. The palate offers superb delicacy to the fresh fruit flavors of berries and minerals. The balance is tremendous and I really love the elegant nuanced style of this wine.
