91 Points

Monday, January 15, 2018 - Red and black cherry, cassis, eucalyptus, ripe and cool fruits, hint of cigar, gravelly tannins, young and medium bodied; good balance, but young, and straight forward, a bit hard; one dimensional, lacking complexity or elegance, but still solid. May improve over time.
With Frederic Faye, winemaker.
Notes: One of the largest estates on the right bank, same family since 1892, whole cluster; The planting of roughly 1/3 each CS, CF, M started in the late 1950's after the 1956 killer frost.
