Tuesday, February 19, 2019 - 92+. Solid ruby. Immediately open with vanilla cherry laced spicy fruit. Bright and fresh, nice truffle, soil notes but more dominated by red, crunchy cranberry, cherry fruits. Touch of Figeac Cabernet Franc pepperyness but in a good way! Lovely mouthful, mid-weight plus, great balance. Drinking very well already and plenty of healthy fruit life left in this wine. Drink with pleasure for the next 20 years with additional complexity as time goes by.
