Tuesday, January 27, 2009 - Drank from magnum without decanting. Really delicious cabernet that was still incredibly young tasting despite its maturity (maybe partially attributed to format). Still a little tannic, although those are resolving. Dark ruby color with berry and cedar notes. Restrained but ripe fruit. Drank immediately following a '90 Bon Pasteur and I liked this much better. This is a great wine now that will continue to improve.
