Saturday, June 6, 2009 - Fun to try this at age 38. An off-vintage, decent but perhaps lesser producer. Bottle was in great condition, high neck fill. Well past it's prime but much better than expected. Still had nice color with just a touch of bricking around the edges. Beef bouillon, dried herbs, very subtle nuances of red fruit, dried cherry, tomato paste, a touch of bret. Drinkable, but more interesting than pleasurable.
