Friday, February 20, 2015 - Very dark ruby. Nose of creme de cassis, forest floor, graphite, cedar. Full-bodied, almost port-like palate of plum, blackberry, cassis, graphite, and (the exotic note, as always) tangerine (not banana like with the 2001). Tannins are structured heavily alongside a very vibrant and lively acidity, which gives the wine balance. Not my favourite style of PC, but no doubt impressive and worth following.
