BY 2012 they were using the concrete eggs. 2008 is the start of horses in the vineyards and 2010 is biodynamic. 2010 is also the start of concrete vats for the Merlot.

Here in this vintage 100% in barrel, 70% new. 65% Cabernet here, and then 30% merlot and then franc and PV split equally from there (I believe). Floral and violet and plummy ripe on the nose. Still tart and tangy on the palate with vibrant acidity. The acidity to me is a hall mark of Pontet Canet - runs through the others that I have had. Very fresh and vibrant. Here not sure the smell matches the acidity.
