Got this completely wrong. I was disappointed to find out it was Pontet Canet (normally I really enjoy this).

On the nose: an emerging bouquet (redcurrant and some cassis) but not quite there yet. Still quite tight.
On the palate: fruit is there but so is the acidity and the tannins are still a bit edgy
Overall: good wine but still quite firm. Not at its best.
