I am constantly on the lookout for a sparkling wine for casual drinking with non-oenophile friends, or just to have by myself in the evening. Easy to drink. Easier on the wallet. Not overly complex, but satisfying. Tastes of yeast with a little bit of citrus. Not a long lasting flavor, but it's a bargain at $7.99. This is another example of what Aldi and Trader Joe's do: They contract with a winemaker and guarantee a huge purchase in return for a lower price, often on an exclusive basis. It's a good business model. Try this, you might be pleasantly surprised.
