Saturday, May 22, 2021 - Consumed in a vertical tasting against the 2004 and 2007 (not for sale). Cork superb. This drank very differently to the 2004 which is showing its age immediately upon decant. This is much more fruit forward. Well integrated too. The air softens this over a few hours and you can begin to see the artistry. Still fruit, but mellow. Tannins, acid, alcohol all working in balance. Hard to beat this - a near perfect example and enjoyed the journey.
