Tuesday, April 23, 2019 - Cork fell apart. The wine was still good. Dark red garnet color. Not showing significant signs of age. Aromas of dark fruit, licorice and tobacco. Wine is medium body and mouth-filling, while being delicate enough to avoid the overbearing character that I associate with most California wines. Flavors of black berry, graphite and dark chocolate, little bit of heat from the alcohol. This wine is drinking well now.
