Friday, January 13, 2012 - Deep black reddish with plum edges. Nose with mineral notes and full fruit. Mouth is full fruit with a nice bite and end of tanins. This wine followed an ok 2005 Chianti Classico Reserva and stood up well to that wine. Nice full fruit and full mouth with a good dry finish. A steal at the local pricing in town. We'll see how the 2008 develops over the next year -- I expect better things!
