Saturday, December 5, 2020 - As directed we gave this a good four hours in the decanter before trying it. The nose is very musty, almost a cave au fromage with some vegetal notes in there, some fruit but quite reserved. Not opulent.
After a good hour in the glass it opened up, very smooth tanins, no noticeable acidity but you could tell it's still at the start of the drinking window. We may keep the rest of the case of another year or two before opening any more.
