Saturday, December 22, 2012 - Coconut and vanilla on the pallet - wonderful experience. Need more of this is the cellar. We opened this and put it back in the fridge with gas. Very impressed with the quality after sitting in the fridge albeit gassed. We tasted it with spicy cheese, and medium strong cheese. We also tasted it along side a nice Madeira and a Rose champagne. The taste brought interesting results. While all were pleasant, this Sauternnes stood it's ground - a solid desert wine, with great body, and richness.
