Wednesday, October 30, 2019 - An evening with Annie Favia-Erikson in London: Last wine of the evening. More open and WOTN for us but unclear if this is more due to the age than the quality as every single of the other cuvees came from very young vintages. Some game on the nose which does remind me of other Cabernet Franc blends but in a more restrained style. Gamey fruit and dark chocolate and herbs. Nice wine but still young. Finish reasonably long but austere and gives the feeling of being somewhat truncated, preventing a higher score.
