Saturday, June 18, 2011 - Cali Cab tasting (Schaumburg Binny's): Nice dark red coloring. Only had about a one ounce pour so limited notes here. Nice plums, casis, floral notes. Tannins we smooth, but the wine was holding back a bit. Got dark fruit and licorice. Not sure this bottle was showing it's best, wasn't decanted at all.
