Saturday, May 3, 2014 - Savored alongside roast beef and shitake risotto with our friends Carla, Luciana, Renato and Antonio. Decanted just before drinking but, surprisingly, was fresh and focused right out of the bottle. As friends noted, decanting was perhaps overkill. Very much in the Cali cab tradition, with aromas of dark chocolate and coffee and plenty of oak.
