Sunday, November 15, 2009 - The nose on this wine shows a lot of earth, spice, green peppers and some dark fruit. The wine was aged in French barriques for quite some time and there is a lot of influence from that on the nose. Slightly tannic on that back end but great acidity up front and nice fruit as well which makes this wine very interesting and complex. Improved with time in the glass and was great with dinner.
