Wednesday, December 24, 2014 - On opening three days ago, I immediately decanted this into a Savino. Had 1 glass that first night and it was like a clenched fist, if wine had fists to clench. Sealed the Savino, stuck it in the wine fridge, and forgot about it until today. A lovely transformation: now it's all deep, tart black fruit and dried tobacco leaf. Good acidity keeps it fresh, and some fine grained tannins. A pleasant surprise.
