Wednesday, September 7, 2011 - Deep nose of spices, cinnamon, clove, dried herbs and a touch vanilla oak, quite alluring at the beginning! Not a fruity nose I'm sure! Quite dense on the palate but surely lacking a little bit complexity! Given this is a ten year old wine! The color is deep ruby, very healthy! Guess the bottle has at least five to ten years to go! I pair the wine with goose, Chiu-Chow style! Which is absolutely wonderful! If it develops more complexity in the future, definitely will gain a point or two!
