Wednesday, March 21, 2012 - Clear dark garnet. Nose of black cherry, earth, and vanilla. Ripe, juicy palate of blackberry, cherry, & licorice. Finish was a little bitter at first, but the bitterness went away with a little air. Very nice acidity. Mild tannins. A tasty Rosso. Addendum: even better day 2. More integration, balance, and focus. The flavor profile shows more tar and licorice. Less dust and earth.
