Friday, August 4, 2023 - Decanted for 1 hour. Garnet colour. Pronounced nose full of dried raisins, blackcurrant, plum, violet and orange peel. Whiffs of fruitcake. Some earthy notes too. Still plenty of (stewed) fruit on the palate, carried by age smoothed tannins. Medium acidity, perfectly balanced & with a long finish. Drinking beautifully now.
