88 Points

Friday, March 26, 2010 - Beautiful nose, none of the volatile acidity of the last bottle, no real evidence of acetaldehyde either. Ultraripe cherry, sweet blackcurrant, warm oak, woody herbs and a touch of pine on the nose. Like a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated Bordeaux teenager. Sadly, the palate doesn't quite live up to the nose. Good juicy attack and decent finish, less impressive mid-palate. A little too sweet here, fine chalky tannins, better with air. Smells like a 92-pointer, tastes like an 85.
