Sunday, November 4, 2012 - - Crimsom color with medium forming legs and aromas of mushroom, oak, vanilla and tobacco. It's balanced and has flavours of fig, vanilla and burnt toast with a medium/full body. Leathery texture with a long finish - I have never tried a wine from this region. A little hesitant at first. This wine has character reminicent of a southwest cahor. Very earthy old world feel. It was a very pleasant surprise and definitely a great value.
