Community Tasting Note

Saturday, December 31, 2016 - Nice Musar. Little to no Brett or VA, although that meant it was a bit less complex than some others. Nice cherry fruit, solid acidity, medium tannin, hints of bottle aged aromas and flavours, but only just starting to come in. With lots of air, there is a bit of a sour-ish note coming out, hinting at bits of VA. Raspberry and bramble on the finish. Some spices as well. Quite a nice vintage, just starting to come into its own, I think.

Cousin was fooled into thinking this was primarily Cabernet or Syrah.
