Saturday, August 12, 2017 - Popped and poured to accompany grilled burgers. Bright garnet hue. Nose of red raspberry, pine forest, cinnamon, cassis, and mountain flowers. Layers of exuberantly juicy red raspberry, currant, and mulberry cut with brambles and rock on the palate. Nice sauvage character as well. Fresh, enlivening acidity and moderated tannins. Longer finish of thorny red fruit and stone. Cool wine.
