Tuesday, June 2, 2015 - Deep dark garnet color. Opaque. Complex aromas of intense raspberry, cola, cinnamon, spices and vanillian. Flavors of blackberry, cassis, raspberry, black pepper and spices. Big and intense fruit. Excellent structure. Tannins are fairly well resolved, but still slightly noticeable. The nose is exceptional, thus the score, as opposed to 92. I like this slightly better than the Shea Wine Cellars Shea Estate.
