Sunday, July 1, 2018 - Completely consistent with my tasting note from April 2017; continues to fade gradually. Still a very good wine with lovely individuality, but it is not as exciting as it was 2-4 years ago. Even in a year like 2008, with its characteristically bright acidity, the aromas are quite mature, with lots of honey and spice but little or no fresh fruit; the wine making style here is clearly more about youthful exuberance than about subtle longevity. So be it - but be aware.
