Friday, October 25, 2019 - Georg Breuer - Double vertical Schlossberg / Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Georg Breuer, Rüdesheim, Germany): Glass: Stölzle White
All wines (except where noted otherwise) where double decanted about 7-10h before tasting. This flight was served blind, only vintage was known.
Youthful, pale golden color. Nose was a bit muted with lots of wet stones.
On the palate very fresh with a wonderful racy acidity. Great mineral core. Tangerine, zests, bitter orange. Precise, cool, lean and very elegant, wonderful length and still very young. I was so surprised to see, that this is Roseneck. What a great surprise! 94-95
