92 Points

Sunday, October 28, 2018 - From magnum. 1 hr air. Amazing nose of blackberry pie and crushed gravel. On the palate, extremely dark and velvety with great persistence. So concentrated it stains the glass. Still a little tannic with not many signs of age. If I had another one, I would hold for 4-5 more years. The sweet spot for Kamen's regular cab (from 750ml) is generally 8-10 years, which is why I opened this now. With time, the complexities will develop and make this very good wine great.

92 points; purchased from Brentwood wine auctions in September 2012 for $123 all-in (steal of century!!!!)
