Sunday, August 7, 2011 - Popped and poured. Deep, dark red and didn't get much on the nose -- probably served a bit too cool. But the first sip was surprisingly rich and pure. Cab fruit, touch of spice, dark cherries with some sweetness, but the balance and smoothness really struck me as I was drinking. Thought tannins were already well resolved, with a long finish. Top notch wine.
