Tuesday, December 13, 2011 - This was my experience with the 1959 Gruaud Larose. I hope it won't be my last. Intoxicating aromas of earth, tar, leather, smoke, flowers, cigar box, cassis and tobacco fill the air. Big, rich and concentrated, with supple, opulent textures, this sublime wine ends with a long, pure, sweet cherry filled finish.
