Wednesday, July 12, 2017 - Butter yellow to light gold color; still very much alive, though lean and almost "skunky" on nose; surprisingly vibrant and showing perfect level of maturity. Proved a great match for oysters. Didn't die quickly in the glass either (except for being happily consumed by a few wine buds who didn't come close to guessing what it was).
